Send a payment to anyone using only their email address...but they can't cash out until they meet specific, verifiable conditions set by you. Have fun, express yourself. 🤑💵
1. A payor creates a conditional payment, which can be private or public. That payment must have 1) a dollar amount, 2) a recipient, and 3) at least one condition that must be met before the recipient can cash out the payment.
2. If the payment is private, the recipient can submit an Affirmation when they believe each condition has been met, and the payor can release the payment if the payor agrees.
3. If the payment is public, then other people can contribute additional money to a payment, thus creating a “Group Payment.”
Condition Affirmations: Additionally, if the payment is public then anyone can submit an affirmation when they believe each condition has been met, which will notify each payor. But the affirmer must pay an “Affirmation Fee” to do so. That Affirmation Fee is either $20 or 1% of the collective Group Payment, whichever is greater. The payor(s) can then release their payment if a quorum agrees that each condition has been met.
